Here’s Our Summer Adventure Lineup. Which One Is Yours?

We’re rapidly appproaching our peak period of the year, where we’re running almost all of our adventure tours all at once, all the way across the Mediterranean – and this year, just to keep things super-insane, we’ve actually added even more adventures in countries brand-new to our catalogue…

Basically, there’s a lot going on. And you’re completely forgiven if you can’t keep track.

So here’s how it’s all looking for the next couple of months, with a list of all our tours that haven’t yet filled up.

Morocco

1) Horse Riding in Southern Morocco (1st – 7th September)

A week atop a horse, wanding your way through through the rugged landscape of the Todra massif, trotting through palm groves and down sunlit canyons, and wild-camping when night falls.

2) Rock Climbing School (11th  -18th September) or (19th – 26th October)

New for 2018, we’re running an intensive rock climbing course for novices and experts, across the 400m-high walls of Todra Gorge, with time-off opportunities to explore the area and meet local nomads.

3) Rock Climbing & Yoga (11th – 16th September)

Running alongside our rock climbing course, a chance to rock-face blend technique and flexibility training, spending your mornings climbing the incredible rock faces of Todra, and your afternoons building your suppleness and balance with a programme of open-air yoga routines in a truly stunning location.

4) Rock Climbing Adventure At Todra (11th – 16th September) or (19th – 24th October)

Our classic and most popular adventure. now into its fifth year: six full days of exploring the routes in and around Todra with the help of our expert guides and experienced fellow climbers.

5) Snow To Desert Multi-Adventure (21st – 30th September)

A 10-day adventure retracing the steps of the ancient Eastern Trans-Saharan trade route. Experience Morocco from West to East by foot and camel. Travel through the dunes and sleep under the stars at the colossal Erg Chebbi, “the gate to the Sahara” – and visit other iconic Moroccan locations such as Aït Ben Haddou and the Draa Valley on this unforgettable adventure.

6) Canyoning Escape To The Middle Atlas (6th – 10th October)

If you’ve never heard the term before, canyoning is where you clamber into a wetsuit and floar down river-filled gorges, laughing and waving your limbs madly in the air. (At least that’s how we do it.) In this adventure, you’ll travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and explore the rich, fertile prairies and many waterfalls and rivers of a less-known region of Morocco, while abseiling, trekking and canyoning in the stunning Ouzoud waterfalls, before camping out by one of the biggest lakes in the whole country.

7) Sahara Desert Trekking Adventure (7th – 14th October)

Our premier (and most popular) desert adventure! We’ll take you from Marrakech over the High Atlas mountains and down into the Sahara, along Morocco’s longest valley, the Draa, winding our way through palm groves. You’ll walk across vast landscapes of rock and sand, before ascending Erg Chegaga, Morocco’s highest dune, and looking out over a landscape of rolling desert stretching to the horizon. It blows the mind of everyone who sees it. It’ll blow yours too.

8) The Trans Saharan Caravan Adventure (19th – 24th October)

This 6-day trek follows the legendary trans-Saharan caravan route, giving you a taste of Moroccan kasbahs, remote villages, nomad life in the desert and camel riding. You’ll sleep under the stars at the dunes of M’Hamid, gate of the Sahara, and visit iconic Moroccan locations such as Ait Ben Haddou and the oases of the Draa Valley.

Spain

1) The Three Peaks of the Sierra Nevada (1st – 5th September) or (6th – 10th October)

A trip right to the top of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, visiting its three highest and most spectacular peaks, including the highest point in continental Spain. We’ll trek in and out of beautiful remote villages and across mountain meadows, sleep in a mountain hut, and summit the highest peak in Europe outside of the Caucasus and Alps.

2) Canyoning and Trekking the Sierra Nevada (8th – 12th September)

In the shadow of Andalusia’s mightest mountain range, we’ll go canyoning along the cool green waters of the Rio Verde before taking to the hills and trekking high into the Sierra Nevada, underneath the highest mountains in the whole of Spain. In between times, you’ll relax in the white villages of the Alpujarra region – and explore Malaga, a recently rejuvenated city with a thriving art & food scene.

3) Rock Climbing In El Chorro (19th – 23rd September) or (24th – 28th October)

A rock-climbing adventure exploring the exciting rock faces and challenging climbs of El Chorro and the surrounding region, north of Malaga. With over 1,000 routes to choose from in El Chorro alone, you’ll find climbs that will challenge you, whatever your skill level.

4) Canyoning, Trekking & Kayaking Andalusia (6th – 13th October)

A seven-day multi-adventure across Spain’s vast, beautiful Andalusia region – the only region in Eurpe with coastlines on both the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.

Greece

1) Sailing and Climbing in the Greek Islands (8th – 15th September)  or  (7th – 14th October)

An 8-day adventure exploring Greece’s legendary Dodecanese islands, by land and sea, using a boat as our floating basecamp. You’ll hike, climb and explore mountains and coastlines by day and sleep at sea by night in the most excitingly diverse combination of adventure styles we’re running this year.

2) Windsurfing on the island of Naxos (23rd – 29th September)

Seven days of windsurfing around the coast of Naxos, the largest of Greece’s Cyclades island chain, world-famous for its baking sunshine, glowing blue waters and timeless hospitality. You’ll master the basics of the high-octane sport of windsurfing – and have plenty of free time to explore the island’s magically picturesque villages, sample the best of its food, and fall in love with its relaxed and utterly charming Greek way of life.

3) Walking & Talking In Zagori (24th – 29th August) or (5th – 10th October)

Brand new for 2018, this adventure will take you deep into the Zagori mountains in northwestern Greece, to trek across stunning landscapes, explore remote villages, learn about mountain life firsthand from local guides, then ascend to the slopes of the Tymfi massif to stay in a mountain refuge against a dramatic backdrop.

*NEW* – Malta

1) Rock Climbing In Malta (19th – 24th October)

Running for its first year, this rock-climbing adventure will explore the rock faces in and around Malta, at the heart of a Mediterranean archipelago that’s world-famous for its stunning landscapes, clear blue oceans and scorching summer sun. You’ll take your pick of a wide variety of climbing routes in four locations across the island – and rest your deliciously weary limbs in the evenings in a villa by the seaside.
